Texas State University seeks applicants for a Lecturer position in the Field Program at the School of Social Work. The selected candidate is expected to: Deliver social work curriculum according to School standards for professional micro, mezzo, macro, and field practice; be willing to learn or enhance online teaching skills and strategies; contribute to professional education, student supervision, program development and leadership, and other areas of practical application; give accurate professional and academic student advisement and provide appropriate mentoring and role-modeling; participate in developing and refining social work curricula and delivery strategies to meet the School’s mission and to meet accreditation standards; and serve the University, School, community, and profession in meaningful ways.

Interested applicants must: Hold the MSW; show evidence of at least five years of post-MSW social work practice experience; hold social work licensure in good standing, or be in process to become licensed; demonstrate evidence of effective teaching and communication skills, and potential to grow in pedagogical skills both on-campus and online; and document abilities to work as an effective team member and willingness to meet School’s mission
