Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have a Masters in Social Work (MSW), a minimum of six years post M.S.W. experience and experience in social work field education: field administration, field teaching and/or substantial field supervision. Evidence of leadership, supervision, management, teaching and strong written and verbal skills are required, as well as extensive knowledge of best practices in social work field education research. The successful applicant will have exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple demands and responsibilities.

The Concord University Department of Social Work invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, 10-month, Assistant Professor of Social Work beginning July 2013, as Director of Field Education. The Department of Social Work currently offers a BSW and plans to begin offering a MSW degree in July 2013. Applicants must have a strong commitment to developing, administering, and maintaining quality BSW and MSW field programs, as well as to excellent teaching. The MSW program will offer the advanced generalist with a specialization in rural practice. Program delivery will be through a mostly distance model. The position requires a Masters in Social Work with two years of post-Masters practice experience. A PhD or doctoral degree is preferred. The University of Saint Francis, Department of Social Work invites applications for a full-time, nine-month tenure track position as the Social Work Field Director in a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited undergraduate social work program. The University of Saint Francis is located in Fort Wayne, IN. Our social work students represent both urban and rural areas.

Qualified Applicants will:

  1. Have a Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school; however, a Ph.D. in Social Work or related field is preferred.
  2. Have successful teaching experience in higher education and a minimum of two years social work practice post-master’s degree
  3. Demonstrate competencies and comfort with online and blended instructional modalities as well as on-ground classroom delivery. Applicants with limited online instruction experience will be willing to participate in university-led training sessions.
  4.
