The Texas Christian University Department of Social Work invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, Assistant Professor of Professional Practice beginning June, 2013 as Director of Field Education.

The Department of Social Work, offering both BSW and MSW degrees, is located in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Applicants must have a strong commitment to developing, administering, and maintaining quality BSW and MSW field programs, as well as to excellent teaching. The MSW program, beginning in fall 2013, will offer the Advanced Generalist with specializations in areas of children and families or health and mental health. The position requires a Masters in Social Work with two years of post-Masters practice experience. A PhD or doctoral degree is preferred.  Preference will be given for applicants with field instructor experience, knowledge of field education, and familiarity with the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.
